“Water series” is a project which comes from my strong relationship with water. It deals with its elusive nature and the constant change; it also explores water as a necessity and a disaster.
Through film, sound, drawing and painting I explore waterbodies, light, shape and movement of water.
A series of films have been made from material that has been filmed during my travels in various places from the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean, from the river Thames to the Slovenian Soča, from the Yorkshire waterfalls to the tidal beaches of the Highlands and the frozen Icelandic landscape.
The project includes residencies in various water locations in England as well as collaborations with the artists Ann Rapstof and Gabriella Kapfer.
