'Rock Water Soil: Narratives of Time’
7-21 September
An exhibition at the Oxfordshire museum in Woodstock, which connects artists Karen Purple, Annie Rapstoff, Vicky Vergou in an exploration and uncovering of our deep elemental connection to the earth.
The show reflects on the passage of time, impermanence, and our emotional and spiritual ties to the earth, highlighting the layered interdependence between humanity and the ecological environment. Each artist draws from personal encounters with landscape, working across a rich variety of media including painting, drawing, video, photography, book works, and stitch, they bring the textures, rhythms, and energies of the land into the gallery space.
Exhibition dates for your diary 7 - 21 September 2025, the opening event is Sunday 7 September 2025, 2.30 to 4.30 and meet the artists and readings on Saturday 13 September 2025 2.30 to 4.30pm.

OVADA. Artweeks 2024 exhibition Big 20, 9-26 May 2024. 11th May - opening party with celebration. “A-E-O-OU-I” consists of small pieces of mixed media drawings of mouths on wood, which have the expression of the sound of the 5 vowels which have in common all 44 official European languages. This artwork is a continuation of the 2010 ACE funded project Language Paralanguage, which revolves around the wealth of languages existing in such close geographical proximity in Europe.
