Vicky Vergou is a multidisciplinary artist who draws inspiration from rural environments and the interconnectedness of nature. Her practice brings together narratives of belonging in and to the natural world, and spans drawing, painting, writing and video. Her work has been exhibited internationally. Vicky graduated with an MA in Contemporary Art from Oxford Brookes University in 2005, having previously studied Fine Art, Cinematography and Graphic Design in Athens, Greece. She is the recipient of the Odysseus Award in video-art and some of her projects have been funded by the Arts Council England. She is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece and has worked as an art teacher, videographer, graphic designer, photographer and filmmaker.
