Inspired by the fascinating world of microbiology and its natural forms 'Bloodscapes' is an ongoing series of small acrylic paintings on wood, which represent an inventory of personal medical conditions and deseases. Natural materials including shells, stones, soil and sand are incorporated into the paintings.  'An Odyssey' is a sound installation which was first developed during a monthly residency at an old dairy in Oxford. Inspired by Homer's Odyssey the project creates a parallel between personal defining moments and Ulysses’ journey back home to Ithaca.

The film 'Blood and Water' explores two of Odyssey's adventures, his visit to the Underworld and his journey by sea, drawing a parallel between the two elements from Hades’ and Neptune’s kingdoms, blood and water; Blood as a symbol of blood related illness and acceptance of death, Water as a symbol of challenge and achievement.

'Seven' is a triptych piece about the stages of life and death. The piece is a video, sound, painting and sculpture installation which has been created for the final MA degree show at Oxford Brookes in 2004.

'Preserve' is a project that explores the different ways organic material can be preserved naturally. The artwork consists of a series of resin sculptures of plants in different stages of decay as well as paintings of human mummies around the world which have been preserved by extreme cold, very low humidity, or lack of air.
